BCAR helps with Coats for Community

On November 7th, members of the Blount County Association of Realtors volunteered their time to help sort and hang coats for the Coats for Our Community project.  This project is headquartered at Fire Station No. 7 on Sevierville Road.  Firefighter Chris McLemore was on hand to show the members how to organize the coats.  Patricia Harmon, President of the Blount County Association of Realtors said, "I was very motivated to help with this project so that people in our community could have a warm coat for the winter.  I was pleased with the efforts of the Blount County Fire Department to give coats to children at local schools."  Clara Peals, a member of BCAR, said "there is still work to be done to deliver coats to children and families in Blount County, we hope to get another group together to help again soon."
