On June 14, 2008 the Blount County Association of Realtors held the BCAR BBQ and Auction in conjunction with the Blount County Habitat for Humanity. The meal consisted of slow roasted pork barbecue and baked beans, provided by Steve Greene, along with potato salad and slaw, provided by Real Estate Finance Group. O'Charley's provided the tea and pickles. It was a delicious home-cooked meal. The Junior Service League had fun donating their time to the children's face painting. And the children's train ride, provided by Cliff Cladwell, brought smiles to the kids faces.
